Yes, you read that correctly!  At Applegait Valley Walkers we are offering you a fantastic opportunity to design your own foal!  In 2008 I was asked by two women if I would breed specific mares to specific stallions on my ranch.  I thought this certainly is doable, and went to work on the concept.

If I have a mare that you like and one of my handsome stallions you prefer over the other, I will breed them for your own designer foal.

The price will be set before the breeding and it will be a reduced price over what my normal sales prices are.  I will require half the price of the foal before I breed the mare, and the balance once the foal is born.  We will go into contract before the breeding and you will be kept in the loop during the entire pregnancy and foaling, complete with photos and updates on the progression of training.  This opportunity will save you up to $1,000 over normal sale prices on a foal from Applegait Valley Walkers.

In 2009 Applegait Valley Walkers has made some new additions to our mare herd.  Blaze has been sold, but her daughter Sheva will continue to produce those fantastic bloodlines along with Blaze's stunning colt, Stetson.  Stetson will be starting his career as a herd sire in 2010.  Added to our Divas in 2009 will be Snip's Champagne Diva, a beautiful Classic Champagne mare.  When bred to Shotgun, she will produce both Classic, Gold and Amber Champagnes along with a variety of other colors.  When bred to Stetson, a high percentage to get a homozygous Classic Champagne foal.

Also added in 2009 is Generator's Dainty Pearl, a lovely Perlino.  With this color I will be assured of buckskins and palominos when she is bred to Shotgun as well as champagnes when she is bred to Stetson.  Now my breeding program is just about complete!
