Rosie

Hi Amber ... Here is the picture I promised of Rosie.  She did three LD's this year.  The PC, Santiam and OR 100.  She got all A's on all her rides with one A- on guts being the lowest mark.  At the brothers ride she pulsed in at 38, her final pulse coming in and pulsing immediately was 48.  Her recoveries keep getting better and better.  I have never had to retake her pulse -- she is always down.

In fact at the last ride, I decided to start her in the middle of the pack.  We were at the starting line and you know how wired that can be.  I checked my HRM and it read 38!  She is remarkably calm for a young horse.  We did the ride in 3-1/2 hours and placed 14th out of 30 (I think).

I didn't push her and she came in very strong.  In fact when you come over that rise and can see camp she started cantering and bucking, she felt so fresh!  She is turning out to be a great little horse and one I can truly "put anybody on"

Tammy
