"Pearli" is new to Applegait Valley Walkers as of April 2009.  I wanted to complete my broodmare herd by adding a Perlino mare so I could be guaranteed Palomino or Buckskin foals.  I had to find just the right Perlino -- just finding a Perlino is difficult enough, much less finding one that has all the strict criteria that I demand.

I found Pearli quite by accident!  She was living in Arizona with her owner, Samantha Arundel.  Pearli has worked at a therapy school with small children and has lots of experience with the kids on her back even though she had not been officially trained to be ridden by adults.  She is as sweet and willing and adorable as you will find.  A lovely four-beat gait to add to her strong shoulder and striking overall beauty.

Pearli just turned three years old on April 7, 2009, so she will spend another year maturing before I breed her to Shotgun in 2010.  She stands at this age at 14.2h and is still growing.  She is a delight to have as a new family member and be sure to look for her buckskin or palomino foal in 2011.  You can order a "designer" foal from Pearli or any of my beautiful mares and use their DNA codes and my color calculator to see what your future baby's color could be  if bred to either Shotgun or Stetson.
